At Furzefield Primary school we have 5 core values that are central to everything we do. These values were created with input from everyone in our school community (parents, pupils, staff and governors). The values aim to guide our pupils towards becoming well-rounded individuals and lifelong learners, with a strong sense of the importance of equality and inclusion in our modern society. Personal Development is an outstanding (Ofsted 2023) feature of our provision and something that we are incredibly proud of. We take a holistic approach to education where wellbeing, emotional intelligence and an understanding of the world is as important as academic achievement. We have high expectations for everyone, regardless of their starting points and operate on the basis that a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities are essential parts of our educational offer. Our curriculum is as broad as it can possibly be for every child, without exception.
